Walla Rugby Day

Hello Everyone,

Wow! What a fantastic day Stages 2 and 3 had on Friday, 15 Aug, for the Walla Rugby event. It was a beautifully sunny day, although not too hot, and it was great to see so many beaming smiles everywhere I looked.

Loom Band Day

On the last day of Term 2, Year 6 organised a loom band activities afternoon. Children were asked to bring in and wear loom band creations, and contribute a gold coin donation. The $250 that was raised was originally tagged to go towards the Year 6 farewell, but Year 6 students decided to donate the money to the UNHCR Iraq appeal instead. In their own words, "The Iraqi people need the money more than we do. Lots of them don't have food and water, but we do."

UN Peace Ambassador

Natalie N, one of our students, has been selected to represent the Oceania region as a peace ambassador at the United Nations in New York City in March. WIN News ran this story on Natalie's achievement.

We're all so proud and wish Natalie and her family all the best for their upcoming adventure. What an opportunity!
